I am quite pleased at how well this app works for the translations of both English and French words. It gives many examples of usage and explanations of the different parts of speech. The small fee to remove ads is so worth it. I highly recommend this app.

Make gender of words more clear sometimes

You can geting this app its verry cool I like it!!!

All of a sudden it wont open on my iPod touch, just crashes after showing loading screen. Tried reinstalling to no avail. Its a shame because this is by far one of the best dictionary apps Ive ever used due to the depth and breadth of its entries. What I love most about it is its inclusion of idioms, not just words. Will give 5* when fixed.

The perfect, light-weight reference for improving your French!

Or should I say magnifique?! Fast, very easy to use and free!! It has the spoken pronunciation so we can actually hear how the word is pronounced, the meanings of the word, and a sidebar showing how the word meanings are incorporated into the phrase. All this and again, free!!!!

Very complete and thorough. It would be perfect with a few additional features. For example, cross-links between the English and French dictionaries, search in either language, and search for conjugated verb forms.

The search function on this app is extremely well made and easy to use. The app is also very helpful for looking up French words.

I found this app very useful because it works without wifi, so I can use it anytime in my studies around Paris. It could be improved by more clearly giving genders to nouns.

I work as a translator in the quality assurance department of a medical device company selling product to France. I use this app to double check the wording of my translations. For this reason I appreciate that the dictionary gives several possibilities for a given word. I also appreciate that the dictionary can be downloaded for offline use. Sometimes I find that it is missing medical terminology, but this is understandable. I would like to suggest an improvement in the search box where it can check for miss spelled words rather than simply pulling up the words starting with the first few letters of what is being typed. All in all it is a very helpful app that I use daily.

The App still offers good translations but the speaker icon to hear the correct pronunciation of each French word has been removed. No explanation as to why either. Now this App its just one of the bunch. The audio feature that attracted me to it is no longer supported.

It is hard to find an French dictionary with IPA, but this have it. It is important for me to pronounce properly when learning French.

A good dictionary doesnt suffice to give a definition of a word. It makes you acquainted with that particle of the language world by giving the necessary elaboration. This is exactly what this dictionary does both ways.

It is a good dictionary, i hope you can offer a spanosh-french version, thatll be great
