French English best dictionary pronunciation app for iPhone and iPad

REVIEW Four: I paid to have the ad banner removed but Im still getting ads. Please tell me how much I have to pay to get rid of the ads altogether. REVIEW Three: Please stop asking me to vote/review. Now Im being messaged via FULL SCREEN that I have a new app. I will soon delete this dictionary out of utter frustration. REVIEW TWO: More than a year later I had to pay $1.39(?) to remove the ad banner, but the adds kept coming up. Maybe they will go away? Its still the best French-English dictionary I have used. Id pay even more if there were no ads! REVIEW ONE:This is an extremely good dictionary; and to be able to look up short phrases is amazing (for example: à bras et jambes écartés). And its free! THANK YOU! I use it all the time. I cant figure out what advantage there is to paying to remove the banner (besides moving the banner).

Love this handy dictionary. I used it when staying in Paris, and I use it regularly in my French studies.

I use this app (and the Spanish equivalent) quite frequently and love them both. They offer great translations as well as audio pronunciations. I want to suggest two features that would make these apps 5-star worthy: 1- The ability to either search both sides (English to X and X to English) at the same time, or the ability to switch between the two searches without having to re-type the search query term to speed up searching as sometimes one may forget to check which dictionary is selected, and if its the wrong one, switching erases the term requiring it to be typed again to search the other dictionary 2- iPad multitasking support. The ability to simply slide-over into these apps or to have it sitting side-by-side with a document or book would be a wonderful, time-saving convenience

I use this dictionary for english to french. Its good, but the french pronunciation does not always load up

Very good app - I can usually find every French word that I am looking for.

Although buying the premium version, it is full of ads. What a pity since the app is not bad. I do think ads will defer users from using it and then kill the success of this tool.

New version introduces another kind of ad, much more intrusive. Although speaker is shown for a word, it doesnt pronounce the word. At least lately. Cannot understand why gender of nouns is not always given!!! Wish list, no change in newest version: 1) bigger fonts 2) expanded vocabulary 3) better ease of use when searching back and forth in both languages

This used to be a great dictionary, which I used frequently. The latest version is now unuseable, since it forces the user to download junk apps which I will never use. Please Fix!

Ive been using this apps for years - the content is great including the prononciation part of it. Im annoyed by the introduction of very intrusive adds that you cannot avoid. It is such a waist of time for me that Ive chosen to search for a new one... Sorry! What awesome before!!!

I used to Love this app. But now, I see no speaker and therefore dont get the pronunciations. This is vital to me, especially in the Italian Version.

Was a great dictionary with a function where you could hear the word you were interested in pronounced. That function has disappeared. Too bad.
